I saw someone argue that C != C++. And that we should never say “C/C++”.

And while we do live in a world that is trying to deny science and math and facts, I don’t see how you can disagree with that first sentence.

The left hand side is C, while the right hand side is C+1. It’s 1 more than C. The two are clearly not equal in Newtonian math.

I can’t wrap my head around that second sentence though. C/C++ should tend towards 1 for ever increasing values of C, no? Why is that taboo?

I validated all this math with Rust.
